Fair Food Network — Publication Design and Layout System
As a returning client, Fair Food Network brought EmSi Design in to transform a complex 22-page Word document into a polished, highly accessible digital white paper titled "Indie Grocery Stores Have the Recipe for a Better Food System." Collaborating closely with two key members of their leadership team, the core objective was to structure dense economic insights and policy data into an approachable visual narrative that highlights independent grocers making a tangible impact across the United States.
To bring the research to life, EmSi Design sourced compelling brand imagery, crafted custom vector icons, and established an intuitive color-coded design system to organize content seamlessly by category. Custom mapping and visual data entry points were integrated throughout the report to clearly showcase geographic impact zones nationwide, supported by a cohesive suite of digital launch assets including branded website banners and email marketing headers.

Real-Time Edits & Comments
Working directly within the original 22-page Google Doc, EmSi Design collaborated back and forth through line-item comments, real-time edits, and structural feedback to refine the copy and align the narrative before transitioning into layout design.
Finished Digital Piece
The final deliverable was structured as a seamless, continuous single-page layout, optimizing reading flow and responsiveness across desktop displays, tablets, and mobile devices.
